This is the lovely story of Honey. She's had quite a journey but has found her forever home at last.
"May I introduce you to Honey our Dogs Trust rescue dog. She has no paperwork but was rescued in Ireland, where her rescuer could only say that she looked terrified. She was sent to Scotland and then on to Amesbury where we met her as Midge. She was Honey coloured, had nothing but honey in her heart and soon become a little Honey in our home. Hence the name change.
We quickly discovered that Honey is frightened of stairs, doors, garden canes and hammers but she soon settled in. She is still frightened of a piece of paper fluttering on the pavement but, she has no problem with a Chinook helicopter landing in the same field as her. (Aren't female dogs strange)! We think she's a Whippet Staffy cross but has the appetite of a Labrador!
We love her and she loves her new Ginger Ted dog coat!"
